BUSINESS ISSUE:
Since I launched my own marketing business in 2013, many clients needed executive-level thought leadership content to boost brand awareness, engagement, trust and leads.
APPROACH:
✅ Every retail tech client is different, so I customized each project to the client’s objective, audience, scope, KPIs and budget.
✅ Applied my proprietary framework to B2B thought leadership content projects (whitepapers, blog posts, newsletters, SEO, GEO, RFP reports, special reports, press releases, case studies, LinkedIn post series, byline articles, etc.).
✅ Work collaboratively with the client to ensure I align with the proper messaging, tone and desired outcomes.
✅ Continuously refine my proprietary B2B thought leadership framework based on lessons learned per project and per client from 13 years in business (plus my corporate career before that).
RESULTS:
⭐ A 1-time whitepaper project for an AI company serving retailers and CPG brands turned into an 8.5-year engagement. (That campaign achieved “the 2nd-highest marketing results in our company’s history.”)
⭐ A 1-time blog post for a retail AI company turned into an 7.5-year engagement. (I was hired as a “heavy-hitter” thought leadership professional; my blog post was the client’s top post of the year. They hired me for many more blog/SEO/GEO projects in the retail & CPG space to support US growth.)
⭐ An awards submission won my global e-commerce client a Supply & Demand Chain Executive award and turned into a 7-year engagement.
⭐ A 1-time blog post project turned into a 3-year engagement with a retail AI client’s award-winning global retail blog, plus more projects spanning content formats.
⭐ A retail AI company extended our engagement 5x longer than the initial duration (15 months vs. 3) because they loved my content work, including SEO/GEO-friendly copy that resonates with human decision makers.
