McKinsey found more than 80% of IT professionals in manufacturing, service operations, HR, marketing and sales worldwide say AI use led to cost reductions.
They also attributed cost decreases of at least 20% (!) to AI use in:
- Service operations
- Risk
- HR
As inflation squeezes profits, expect more companies in retail and other sectors to embrace AI to control costs.
